About UNHCR and the Irish Refugee Advisory Board
UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is a global organization dedicated to saving lives, protecting rights and building a better future for refugees, forcibly displaced communities and stateless people.
The Irish Refugee Advisory Board (IRAB) was formed by UNHCR in 2022. A refugee led group, the Board’s aim is to ensure that the voices of refugees are heard in policy decisions that affect them. In doing so, it will discuss issues that affect their communities and propose solutions to them.
About the survey
UNHCR and IRAB are conducting a survey to better understand how to reach refugee communities all across Ireland. This will help ensure that they receive the kind of information they are interested in and improve the design of future consultations. The results will be analysed and shared publicly.
