    Al Qa’im border remains closed with some exceptions for females and minors less than 15 years old as part of the family reunification.

    There have now been over 4,000 voluntary returns to Syria from the Al Qa’im border point.

    In contrast with the Kurdistan Region, the number of refugees in Al-Qa’im is constantly decreasing with some 4,600 having returned to Syria.
