In the course of the mission, interviews were conducted in Trincomalee district in the east, Puttalam district in the west and in the capital, Colombo. The IDMC is grateful to the staff of civil society organisations, international and national humanitarian and human rights agencies, donors, and in particular the internally displaced persons of Sri Lanka who provided information for this report.
