Comments Based on information gathered during the Special Representative's visit to Equatorial Guinea between 4-18 Nov. 2001, in accordance with his mandate to monitor the human rights situation as well as any technical assistance provided to the country, and to assist the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and the Government of Equatorial Guinea in establishing a programme of technical assistance in the field of human rights.
