X. RESOLUTIONS ADOPTED ON THE REPORTS OF THE THIRD COMMITTEE
928. Ratification of, or accession to, the Convention relating to the Status of Stateless Persons
(a) Any State Member of the United Nations,
(b) Any other State invited to attend the United Nations Conference on the Status of Stateless Persons, and
(c) Any State to which an invitation to sign or to accede to this Convention may be addressed by the General Assembly of the United Nations,
Considering that not all States members of a specialized agency or parties to the Statute of the International Court of justice were invited to attend the United Nations Conference on the Status of Stateless Persons,1. Requests the Secretary-General to invite on its behalf to accede to the Convention any non-member State which was not invited to attend the United Nations Conference on the Status of Stateless Persons, but which is, or hereafter becomes, a member of any specialized agency or is, or hereafter becomes, a party to the Statute of the International Court of justice;
2. Expresses the earnest hope that Governments will take prompt action for the early ratification of, or accession to, the Convention relating to the Status of Stateless Persons.
