The Government

Article I

agrees

1.   on the extension until 30 June 1993 of the grant of assistance to citizens of the former Yugoslavia who have requested or request the grant of temporary asylum, to the extent provided for by regulation number 529 of the government of the Czech and Slovak Federative Republic of 30 September 1992, concerning the extension of assistance to citizens of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia who have sought temporary asylum within the territory of the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic by 31 December 1992, and by the regulation number 527 of the government of 26 August 1992, on the provision of humanitarian aid to children of the former Yugoslavia, and number 589 from 14 October 1992, concerning governmental measures to assist victims of the conflict within the territory of the former Yugoslavia until the end of 1992,

2.   on the extension of the government's offer for the organized transport of 610 citizens of the former Yugoslavia

- 310 persons determined by the UNHCR

- 210 persons determined by Governmental Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina located in Croatia

- 70 persons determined by the Croatian Governmental Office for Exiles and Refugees

3.   on the grant of financial assistance to non-governmental organizations which engage in charitable activities for the benefit of victims of the conflict within the territory of the former Yugoslavia,

4.   on the grant of material assistance to states coming into existence within the territory of the former Yugoslavia and recognized by the government;

Article II

charges

1.   the Interior Minister with ensuring

a)         the grant of assistance to citizens of the former Yugoslavia, to whom temporary asylum has been or will be granted in accordance with point I/1 of this regulation,

b)         the organized transfer of 610 citizens of the former Yugoslavia in cooperation with the UNHCR and the competent authorities of Croatia and Bosnia Herzegovina

c)         the elaboration by 30 June 1993 of the legal framework for the temporary asylum,

2.   the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government and the Finance Minister with,

a)         setting the amount of funds to be utilized for the support of activities of non-governmental organizations in accordance with point I/3 of this regulation,

b)         setting the amount of funds to be utilized for the grant of material assistance to the states coming into existence within the territory of the former Yugoslavia.
