Pakistan: 1. What is the current situation with respect to those participating in anti-Musharraf and pro-democracy demonstrations? 2. Is there any information to suggest different treatment of pro-democracy activists by the Pakistani police and the army? 3. Is there retrospective legislation allowing anti-government activities to be dealt with by military tribunals by military personnel and not the civil courts? Is it operating? 4. Do fatwas issued in one province extend throughout Pakistan i.e. have persons been pursued and killed after relocating to another part of Pakistan? 3. Have these groups been known to target advocates of women's rights or other liberal activists? 2.
