According to a January 1990 report from the BBC, the general staff of patriotic guards is going be placed under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of National Defence until a new regulation is formulated (4 Jan. 1990). Please find attached some documents which provide brief references to the Patriotic Guard and/or workers' militia.
