No information is currently available to the IRBDC which specifically mentions deaths and violence which occurred during the March 1982 coup. Both The Europa YearBook 1989 and the U.S. Department of State's Country Reports on Human Rights Practices for 1983 mention that the coup was "bloodless". Please find attached, however, a series of articles which mention arrests which took place in connection with the coup. No further information on this topic is currently available to the IRBDC.
