The ILGA (International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association), established in 1978 is a worldwide federation campaigning for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex rights. The aim of the organization is to work for the equality of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex people and their liberation from all forms of discrimination. ILGA seeks to achieve this aim through the world-wide cooperation and mutual support of its members. Website: ilga.org/
