The Chairman of Armed Resistance Against Anti-Democratic Forces (Résistance armée contre les forces antidémocratiques, RAFAD) stated in a telephone interview on 1 March 2001 that the information contained in TCD32955.E of 28 October 1999 is still relevant.

He specified as well that even though he is now in exile, the RAFAD is directed by the Secretary General, Annaby Moussa N'djole, who is in Benin (ibid.). The Chairman stated that he does not have a direct input into RAFAD affairs, but maintains contact with it (ibid.).

In a Memorandum released on 14 October 2000 by the Forces vives, Abderaman Djasnabaille mentioned that Adoum Moussa Seif was still in exile.
