There is no information currently available to the IRBDC to indicate whether Poland has completed revision of the Penal Code.

According to an official at the Embassy of Poland in Ottawa, article 271 of the Penal Code, regarding the dissemination of false information, no longer exists and there is no censorship in Poland (15 Jan. 1992). This information cannot currently be corroborated by the IRBDC.
