However, the RSFSR Law on the Citizenship of the RSFSR (Articles 1, 2, 12, 19, and 24) and the Soviet Law on USSR Citizenship (Articles 2, 13 and 18) provide general information on the grounds for acquisition of nationality by foreigners, and the equality of nationality regardless of the grounds on which it was acquired. Part IV of the Law on the Citizenship of the RSFSR includes information on procedures for applying for nationality; however, there is no information currently available on the implementation of these procedures as they pertain to foreigners.
