According to a source at Middle Watch who specializes on Kuwait and has just returned from a visit to that country, the citizenship situation of the Bidoon has not changed since January 1992 (16 Feb. 1994). Country Reports 1992 notes that in 1992 the government continued its postwar policy of reducing the number of the Bidoon and other foreigners in the country (1993, 1040). The above information is corroborated by Human Rights Watch World Report 1994 (Dec. 1993, 313-315).
