According to a representative of the Zambian Mission to the United Nations in New York, children of families holding a renewable Temporary Workers Resident Visa who reach the age of 21 are no longer included in their parents' visa. They are not, however, subject to deportation, unless they have a criminal record (13 Oct. 1992). According to the same source, the government of Zambia may issue a renewable study permit to those who have not finished their studies. Those who have already graduated from school may be issued an extendable work permit (Ibid.).
Additional information is currently unavailable to the DIRB in Ottawa.
