Information on the treatment of Devrimici Genclik Dernegi (DGD) or the Revolutionary Youth Organization by the Denktas (Turkish Cypriot Administration) is currently unavailable to the DIRB.

However, according to Youth Movements of the World, Devrimici Genclik Dernegi (DGD) or the Revolutionary Youth Organization is a major national youth movement founded in May 1975 as the Democratic Youth Organization, whose present name was adopted in 1977 (1990, 159). It has a membership of 3,000 and is affiliated to Greek-Cypriot and Turkish-Cypriot organizations, and international youth organizations: the Greek Cypriot youth organization EDON, the Turkish Cypriot Trade Union, Youth Bureau (DEV-IS), Turkish Cypriot Youth Centre (Gencur Merkezi), World Federation of Democratic Youth (WFDY), and the International Union of Students (IUS) (Ibid.).

Additional and/or corroborative information on the requested subject could not be found among the sources currently available to the DIRB in Ottawa.
