The president of the Caucasus Network stated in a telephone interview with the DIRB on 6 January 1992 that the organization provides information both on the Caucasus republics (Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia) and on the Central Asian republics (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan) although recently it has concentrated on the latter group. The organization also provides help and advice to Jews emigrating from these republics. The president added that she recently returned from a field trip to Central Asia and was compiling a report on this trip. She offered to send the DIRB a copy when it was completed. She also stated that the Caucasus Network cooperates with the Immigration and Naturalization Service Resource Centre in the USA.
Additional and/or corroborative information on this subject is currently unavailable to the DIRB.
