Decision No 2825 stipulates the provisions related to the acquisition of the Lebanese affiliation instead of the Turkish one by those who were residing in the territory of the Greater Lebanon on the 30 August 1924. Also, the Decision states the rules and requirements for exercising the right to choose the relevant affiliation by the persons concerned, as Lebanon laws do not allow to hold double nationality. The Decision is valid for determining the nationality of individuals been present in Lebanon (born or not) before 30th of August 1924. |
