Incumbent Dalia Grybauskaite has claimed victory in a presidential election runoff election in the Baltic state of Lithuania.
With about 75 percent of the vote counted, Grybauskaite had about 58 percent of the vote.
Her challenger, Zigmantas Balcytis, has about 42 percent.
Speaking to supporters in the capital, Vilnius, Grybauskaite said her victory was "historic" because "Lithuania has never elected a president for a second term before."
Grybauskaite has been a vocal critic of Russia's actions on Ukraine, boosting her popularity in a country controlled by Moscow during the Cold War.
Grybauskaite is an economist who was educated both in the Soviet Union and the United States.
She became Lithuania's first female president when she was elected in 2009.
