Situation Overview
Logistics arrangements from NEOC for food rations ongoing in the outer islands facilitated by local commercial vessels and the ADF (HMAS Canberra and Chinooks). FSAC supporting distribution of dry ration to affected island, however due to unfavorable weather conditions in Efate, no distribution is done today. Ongoing mass awareness to media outlets with support from Health cluster and addressing treatment to affected communities around Efate, including leptospirosis health awareness talks. Water Trucking still ongoing & distribution of water filters in Efate.
