ReliefWeb mobile apps released

UPDATE: In July 2018, the mobile apps were replaced by an enhanced mobile version of ReliefWeb. More here

ReliefWeb’s Product Development team had a busy summer working on its first mobile apps. We wanted to share these useful new products with our users, marking the occasion of 20 years of our humanitarian information service.

Our apps will bring you ReliefWeb's content right to your fingertips, based around particular information needs of each app user. For example, the Headlines app gives you the latest content that is hand-picked by the editors and/or filtered according to your preference. Meanwhile, the Crises app saves you valuable time by providing you with a comprehensive overview of various crises on one handy screen.

In the first iteration, the apps are compatible with Android Kitkat (4.4) and iOS 9 and above.

We are grateful in particular to those who participated in alpha testing - your feedback and insights were invaluable during the development process. We look forward to receiving feedback and suggestions for the mobile apps at apps@reliefweb.int.
