It’s April 2015, and so far this year ReliefWeb has already uploaded more than 15,000 updates and covered fourteen natural disasters. We’re updating ReliefWeb daily with new reports and maps. Our goal is to keep the global humanitarian community informed about the latest developments on crises and disasters.
One of the best ways for users to stay current of the latest humanitarian updates is via ReliefWeb’s email subscription services that we have been offering for many years.
Now with our latest improvements to the subscription process, we’ve made it easier for you to choose and subscribe to notifications on new updates about countries, disasters, headlines, maps and infographics, situation reports, jobs and trainings.
To check out the new and easy to use subscription process or to receive updates via email, you need a ReliefWeb account. Login or register via the link at the top of the page.
Click on the manage subscriptions, and the subscription options will appear.
The new ‘Manage subscriptions’ layout is designed to be simple, making it easy to subscribe to the information you need.
You can choose a subscription from the existing list of options or select one or more particular countries or disasters.
Simply click on the check box to subscribe. You can just as easily unsubscribe by unchecking the box.
For daily updates on a particular country or disaster, or to receive notifications of new trainings from a particular country, simply type the country or disaster name in the search box and choose from the list that appears.
If you're logged in to your ReliefWeb account, you can also subscribe to country or disaster information from the country or disaster pages. Look for the subscription option under the filters.
This update is just the first step in our project to improve how you receive humanitarian information through our email subscription options.
If you have any feedback or suggestions on the new subscription layout we’d love to hear it. Contact us or leave a comment below.
