4 . ENSO OUTLOOK FOR TUVALU IN DECEMBER:

• LA NINA continues in the tropical Pacific and is likely to persist into early 2023.

• Monthly maximum and minimum temperatures for December are likely to be near-normal, apart from maximum temperatures at Nanumea which are likely to be below normal.

• Seasonal maximum and minimum temperature: Averaged over December to February, are likely to be near-normal, except for maximum temperatures at Niulakita, which are likely to be above normal.
