No mention of a Liberian soccer club called "Hearts" could be found among the sources consulted by the Research Directorate.
According to an archivist for the Website of the Rec. Sport Soccer Statistics Foundation there is club called "Hearts" in the list of 37 Liberian clubs in the book The African Football Guide 1996/97 (4 May 1999). The archivist states that the clubs listed are from the National League, the Second Division, with two from the Third Division (ibid.). The archivist states that he has never been to West Africa and is therefore "not competent to answer your questions," but adds that he collects the names of soccer teams from around the world and there is no team called "Hearts" in the 47 Liberian clubs he has so far identified (1 May 1999).
