Information about indigenous groups who are not nationals of Zambia is currently unavailable to the IRBDC. According to the Constitution of Zambia, the government of Zambia does not recognise multiple nationality. According to the British Broadcasting Corporation (23 June 1990), Zambia hosts a refugee population of 144,000 from the neighbouring countries of Namibia, Angola and Mozambique. This information is corroborated in articles published by The Xinhua General Overseas News Service (20 June 1990; 21 June 1990). Information about the ratio of the refugee population to the total population is currently unavailable to the IRBDC.
