Egypt: 1. What knowledge would a deacon and Sunday school teacher have of (i) the Coptic Orthodox Church organisation in Egypt, and (ii) Coptic Christian beliefs and liturgy? Please provide any further information on the attitude of Egyptian police, security forces, government informants and members of the Islamic brotherhoods towards Coptic Christians who are suspected of (i) assisting Christian converts and (ii) encouraging Muslims to convert.

To what extent are they forced to practice underground, and what are the likely consequences if they do not? 2.
