According to the Greyhound Canada, Medicine Hat, Agent of the past five years, no attempted Greyhound bus hijacking occurred on or about 28 June 2001 near Medicine Hat, Alberta (10 Jan. 2003). In addition, an archival search by an office staff member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, in the Alberta Redcliff Detachment responsible for the region outside of the city of Medicine Hat, did not reveal any disturbances involving a Greyhound bus (10 Jan. 2003).

This Response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the Research Directorate within time constraints. This Response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum.
