The attached copies of the "Prevention of Domestic Violence and Victim Protection Act" and "Special Act for the Punishment of Domestic Violence" were provided by the Korean Women's Development Institute, "an autonomous, non-profit organization fully funded from the government, [which] aims to promote women's social participation and welfare by carrying out research projects on women" (25 March 1999).
