Information on ethnic Lebanese in Guinea is scarce among the sources consulted by the DIRB. However, please find attached media reports which provide information on ethnic tensions and the Lebanese community in Guinea.
Information on whether blacks demonstrated against Lebanese merchants in February 1996 and on whether government protection was offered to the Lebanese could not be found among the sources consulted by the DIRB.
This Response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the DIRB within time constraints.
