 1) According to the Consul at the Embassy of Guinea, a person holding a temporary residence permit can work in the country.

 2) This source also reported that it is possible to renew a

temporary residence permit. According to the Consul, it is rather

unusual for someone to be refused such a renewal. Refusal is

usually based on the existence of a criminal record or charges

against the requester.

 3) The person holding a temporary residence permit may

request permanent residence status. The requester then has to

follow administrative procedures through the Ministry of

Interior.
