The DIRB has received confirmation from the headquarters of the Socialist International in London that there was a congress of the Socialist International in Berlin in September 1992, and that Amin Wakman participated as the head of a delegation from the Afghanistan Social Democratic Party (Socialist International, 8 May 1997).
