In a 26 February 1997 letter to the DIRB, a representative of the United Restitution Organization (URO) for Canada in Montreal states:

You asked me about Fafelwald, a village located near the city of Kizena. I have checked our register of Ghettos, Forced Labour Camps and Concentration Camps but could not find Fafelwald, Kizerna or any places sounding similarly.

For additional information on Fafelwald and the URO, please consult the attached letter.

Corroborating information on the above-mentioned topic could not be found among the sources consulted by the DIRB.

This Response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the DIRB within time constraints. This Response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum. Please find below the list of additional sources consulted in researching this Information Request.
