Article 1

Article 1 of the Law on Amnesty (Official Gazette RS no. 13/96) is amended and it reads:

"Complete liberation from criminal prosecution or complete liberation from serving a determined sentence or a non-served part of the sentence (hereinafter: amnesty) is granted by this Law to all persons, who have in the period from 1 January 1991 until 22 December 1995, committed any of the criminal acts against the basis of the social system of Republika Srpska from Chapter XV, criminal acts against the armed forces of Republika Srpska prescribed in the Criminal Law of Republika Srpska (Chapter XX of the taken over the Criminal Law of SFRY), calling upon resistance from Article 201, spreading of false information from Article 203 and illegal possession of weapons and explosive material from Article 213 of the Criminal Law of Republika Srpska - Special Part.

Article 2

Article 2 is deleted.

Article 3

Article 7, section 2 is added after section 1 which reads:

"If the person referred to in Article 1 of this Law had been pronounced a binding sentence to imprisonment, s/he shall be liberated from serving the sentence entirely or the part which has not been served."

Article 4

This Law shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the "Official Gazette of Republika Srpska".
