Comments | In its draft resolution, the Monitoring Committee considers that the Georgian authorities have continued to make significant progress in honouring their obligations and remaining commitments to the Council of Europe, despite the significant impact and the consequences of the war with Russia in 2008. However, despite this progress, the Committee recommends that the Parliamentary Assembly continues its monitoring procedure in respect of Georgia pending further progress on the issues highlighted in the draft resolution. |
