Ibrahima Sarr
UNHCR Associate Economist
Ibrahima Sarr is an Associate Economist at the UNHCR Regional Bureau in Nairobi. He has a Ph.D. in Economics from Université de Laval and also holds master’s degrees in applied mathematics, and in statistics and economics. He is a former World Bank-UNHCR fellow on forced displacement. His research covers topics in development economics, behavioral and experimental economics, and in welfare analysis. He is currently working on topics related to optimal targeting methods, multidimensional poverty measurement, intra-household allocation, and individual poverty in forcibly displaced settings.
