Unlike previous retreats, this year the Global CCCM Meeting will be held entirely online due to COVID-19 pandemic and its related restrictions. However, the Global CCCM Cluster team is working hard to make this occasion highly interactive, engaging and field-driven, to bring the CCCM community together promoting an environment of knowledge and experience exchange.
What is new about the Global CCCM Meeting 2020?
The Global Meeting this year will extend on two weeks, between the 2nd and 12th of November, from Monday to Thursday between 13:45 – 16:00 (CET). We will be using Zoom as a platform for the meeting.
Seizing the opportunity that the Global Meeting will be online, the participation this year is unlimited and open to all CCCM practitioners, partners and anyone interested in CCCM work.
The sessions are designed to be interactive, using different methodologies (presentation, panel discussions, Q&A, polling…etc.). The selected topics are based on field consultations where CCCM practitioners participated in identifying the areas that matter the most to their daily operations.
During the Global Meeting, participants will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the Global CCCM Cluster Strategy 2021 -2025. This will be in a prior field consultations have been conducted through country clusters/sectors. The session about the Global CCCM Strategy will be on the last day of the meeting, 12th of November from 14:00 to 16:00.
Finally, CCCM practitioners will have the opportunity to share their diverse experience through the first-ever Practitioners’ Day on the 6th of November. This day is an open forum for exchanging and showcasing initiatives, best practices and lessons learned.
