This event on the Global Operational Footprint is part of broader efforts and ambitions by the GPC to ensure that the basics of protection response are in place in all operations, facilitate global monitoring/reporting of field operations, and foster collective action at field and global level to address critical operational and funding gaps. This event will provide an opportunity for field protection cluster and AoR coordinators and co-coordinators to reflect on core protection activities and programs, to share their experience and clarify minimum expectations, to identify possible solutions to challenges and program continuity in constrained operational contexts (Covid-19, CT/CVE, etc.). The event will also help shape and clarify types and priorities for field support.
