GP20 Steering Group Meeting 27 June 2019

The GP20 Steering Group meeting in June in Geneva focused on government efforts to address protracted displacement and foster durable solutions in Ukraine, Afghanistan and Somalia. Emphasis was put on the importance of immediate investment for social cohesion, the necessity of a longer term view with a “one UN” and whole of government approach with leadership from the highest level, and the challenge of competing government priorities.
