On Tuesday 30th November, 2PM Geneva Time (GMT +1), the CCCM Cluster Capacity Development Working Group will be hosting a Webinar on Capacity Building, Monitoring, Evaluation and Follow Up of Capacity Building Activities.
The session will be divided into 2 sections and highlight experiences, challenges and best practices from field operations.
Part 1:
Presentation of field experiences on monitoring, evaluation and follow up of Capacity Building activities (ACTED, Pilot programmatic partnership covering 8 countries, IOM Bangladesh on the Capacity Sharing Initiative, DRC Yemen on Capacity building activities for the CCCM consortium partners and local authorities). The objective of this session is to expose participants to best practices and approaches from the different field operations on monitoring, evaluation and follow up of capacity development activities.
Part 2:
Panel Discussion: during the panel discussion, the moderator will select the most frequently asked questions by the webinar participants and re-direct to the panelists. The objective of this session is to discuss and share practical steps and ideas from our panelists on how to monitor, evaluate and follow up on capacity development activities most effectively.
By the end of this session, participants will:
- Apply ideas and concrete steps to monitor, evaluate and follow up on capacity building activities
- Discuss challenges and lesson learnt on the monitoring and evaluation of capacity building activities and share ideas and best practices on this subject
