In photos: David Morrissey visits Syrian refugees in Lebanon

In March 2017 UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador David Morrissey travelled to Lebanon to visit Syrian refugees and learn about UNHCR's work on the ground. Images of some of the families David met can be viewed below.

Originally from Homs, they have been in Lebanon for five years since fleeing bombings in Syria. Talal has been working as a carpenter in Lebanon but is hoping for a new start and opportunities as the family are being resettled to the UK. Both Talal and Maha's mothers came from Syria to say their final goodbyes to the family.

Jamal has been working as an agricultural worker since the family fled the Syrian conflict nearly four years ago. The family is being resettled to the UK.
