Austria: Asylum Court (Asylgerichtshof)

Pursuant to the Federal law concerning the Asylum Court, the Asylum Court (Asylgerichtshof) replaced the Independent Federal Asylum Review Board (Unabhaengiger Bundesasylsenat/UBAS) as of 1 July 2008. All proceedings pending with the UBAS at that time were continued before the Asylum Court. The Asylum Court is the court of final instance for complaints against decisions of the Federal Asylum Office (Bundeasylamt). Website: www.asylgh.gv.at/
