When and where did you begin this sport?
He began swimming at age five. In 2009 he joined the 'Swimming Against the Tide' project in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Why this sport?
He decided he wanted to pursue the sport after watching the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing on television. "Swimming came into my life as physiotherapy. Later it turned into a hobby and, in the end, it became my main activity."

Impairment
