CHANGING SPORTS
Although she competed in rowing at the Paralympic Games in 2008 and 2012, she has always had an interest in swimming. After becoming completely blind in 2013 following eye surgery, she asked her brother to look into whether it would be possible for her to become an elite Para swimmer. "I was developing a strategy to motivate myself because I did not know how the rest of my life was going to go.
