When and where did you begin this sport?
He began skiing at age six in Hlusk, Belarus. He took up the sport more seriously in 2005.
Why this sport?
He liked skiing due to his father, and took part in local and regional competitions when he was studying at school. Most coaches did not want to train him because of his vision impairment, so he trained on his own before being spotted by a specialist who became his coach.
