When and where did you begin this sport?
He first tried alpine skiing in 1982 at age 10 in Norilsk, Russian Federation. He began competing in Para alpine skiing in 2007.
Why this sport?
He was inspired to try the sport after watching skiers descend the mountains in Norilsk, Russian Federation. "I began my career myself and fought to participate in the sport."
