She began training in Para cross-country skiing at age 26 in 2010 in Novosibirsk, Russian Federation.
Why this sport?
During a national festival for people with an impairment in Sochi, Russian Federation, she met skiing coach Yury Kudryashov. He was recruiting new athletes and encouraged her to try the sport.
