When and where did you begin this sport?
He took up the sport in 2008 in Morada Nova, Brazil. He had got involved in Para athletics in 2005 before moving on to Para triathlon and then Para swimming.
Why this sport?
"I was curious to know what my class was in swimming. Soon after, I broke my first Brazilian record in the 100m butterfly so I decided to keep going."
