He began shooting in 2005 in Belgrade, Serbia.
Why this sport?
He had shooting experience from his time serving in the military, and took up shooting Para sport as a way of meeting new people. "I have always loved sport. I used to play wheelchair basketball, but then I decided to return to my beloved shooting."

He was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, but in 1992 he moved to Belgrade, Serbia, to receive treatment for his impairment.
