Republic of Korea
Republic of Korea has won two medals at the Paralympic Winter Games, both silver.
These silver medals were claimed by Han Sang Min in the alpine skiing men's giant slalom LW12 at the Salt Lake City 2002 Paralympic Games and by the wheelchair mixed curling team at the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Games.
The NPC made its debut at the Tignes-Albertville 1992 Paralympic Winter Games.
Republic of Korea will host the Paralympic Winter Games in 2018 in PyeongChang. It hosted the Paralympic Games in Seoul in 1988.
At the Seoul 1988 Paralympic Games, Korea won 94 medals, including 40 gold.
Yang Jae Rim finished fourth in the alpine skiing women's giant slalom visually impaired in Sochi 2014, the highest finish for any athlete representing Republic of Korea in Russia.
