PISTOL TO RIFLE
He initially began with pistol shooting, but switched to rifle shooting soon after to prove he could excel in another discipline. "When I was shooting with pistol, my detractors pointed out that I had an advantage because I used a stool for seating purpose and was thus able to score more points. To prove them wrong, I took up rifle shooting. In this event the rules and body position is similar to those in the Olympics." (tribuneindia.com, 05 Mar 2010)
